Dau Tieng marks 58th anniversary of Vietnam Physicians’ Day

Dau Tieng district’s healthcare sector, on February 25, held a get-together to mark the 58th anniversary of the Vietnam Physicians’ Day (February 27, 1955-February 27, 2013).

At the get-together, delegates were heard Uncle Ho's letter sent to the healthcare sector while reviewing the district’s results of public healthcare in 2012. The district’s healthcare sector includes the district’s health center that now has 100 beds and manages 12 commune/township-level health stations of communes township and 3 regional clinics; Dau Tieng Rubber Corp.’s health center that is now home to 100 beds and manages 11 health stations of rubber plantations.

Last year, the district’s healthcare sector effectively realized its tasks in terms of public healthcare, preventive health and national target programs on healthcare. The local healthcare facilities also provided medical check-ups and treatment for 459,000 turns of patients.
