Ben Cat builds a friendly government integrated with people-centered model

As identifying administrative reform (AR) as one of the key tasks, recently, the Party Committee and People's Committee of Ben Cat City have directed localities to effectively implement AR at the grassroots level, combined with many practical programs close to the people.

Namely, at the reception area in many communes and wards, drinking water and free wifi are provided, and staff are assigned to enthusiastically guide people when they come to carry out administrative procedures. All procedures are handled quickly by local leaders, without making people wait long.

In addition, each commune and ward strengthens emulation to build a friendly government, integrated with models close to the people. Namely, the People's Committee of My Phuoc ward has successfully implemented a program of registering and granting birth certificates, marriage certificates, and domestic adoption certificates. Accordingly, permanent and temporary residents in the ward when registering for the above procedures will be personally handed certificates and given congratulatory flowers by the ward leaders. Recently, the People's Committee of My Phuoc Ward continued to carry out "Registering death certificates and delivering condolence letters at home" for all residents.

Meanwhile, Tan Dinh Ward People's Committee has done the program of "Handing out marriage certificates at home of residents". Accordingly, all men and women residing permanently or temporarily in the ward who want to register their marriage for the first time at the ward People's Committee will be given flowers and marriage certificates at their home by the local authorities, reducing travel time. This is also an opportunity for local leaders to listen to and receive feedback from the people, improve public service quality, and contribute to raising the criteria for building a friendly government.
