Dau Tieng marks Vietnamese Physicians’ Day

Early Feb.27, Dau Tieng district’s health sector held a get-together to mark the 57th anniversary of the Vietnamese Physicians’ Day.

 

At the get-together, participants reviewed the meaning of the birth of the Vietnamese Physicians’ Day while affirming the role of the health sector in public healthcare.

 

The district’s health sector has over time received more investment on material facilities, personnel training and attraction and also well realized disease prevention. Currently, the sector has a total of 492 staff, including 55 doctors. There are 100% of health stations with doctors and 100% of quarters, hamlets with health staff.

 

Last year, the district’s health sector received and provided medical examination & treatment for more than 474,000 patients.

 

On this occasion, two collectives of the district’s health sector gained the title of Progressive Laborer Team; 10 individuals gained the title of Emulation Soldier. Provincial Department of Health and the district’s People’s Committee also presented the certificates of merit to 39 outstanding collectives and individuals of the sector.
