The provincial People’s Committee yesterday convened relevant departments and sectors to debate the Plan on implementing the provincial party committee’s action plan on tech-science development in the province.

 

The plan includes 8 contents and 8 key missions. At the meeting, many useful and practical ideas were raised. Some deputies said that it is essential to create a more transparent structure to apply flexibly tech-scientific activities and scientific researches should be close to practical conditions of every locality and it is necessary to have more detailed statistics on local tech-science industry’s situation and potential.

 

Addressing the meeting, the provincial People’s Committee vice chairman Huynh Van Nhi instructed that the draft action plan should be more perfect and asked the provincial department of Technology and Science to collect more ideas of relevant units. In addition, the vice chairman noted that it is necessary to improve role of research institutes, universities and businesses in implementing the action plan. Of this, universities should make efforts to set out topics in conformity with local real demand.
