Di An’s 2nd writing contest on the “Heart of teacher” launched

Di An town’s Library has just coordinated with the town’s Division of Education and Training to launch the 2nd writing contest on the “Heart of teacher”, aiming to disseminate the nice significance of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (November 20) honoring those who have made contributions to the national cause of education.

Accordingly, candidates who are pupils, teachers, elderly people…will send their writings from 700 to 2,000 words each with the contents of the “Heart of teacher” at present, the role of teachers in teaching work, advice to teaching staff, helping the society be pride of teaching and Vietnam’s education…

To Nguyen Thi Thu Van, Vice-Chairwoman of Di An town’s Library, this will be a chance for pupils and people from all strata to raise the tradition of “having respect for ethic and venerated teachers”, know more about the role of teachers in making the dreams of pupils come true, provide them with knowledge, helping them confidently make their way in the world and become useful citizens to the society.

The deadline for the contest is November 12, 2013. The organizers will consider entries on November 13 and 14. The awards ceremony of the contest will be organized at Di An town’s Library on November 16.
