Tan Uyen district has just held the 2013 children’s forum with the theme of “Listening by heart and taking care of actions” and awarded scholarships to poor-but-excellent pupils and students in the 2012 and 2013 period.

At the forum, participants collected ideas on the issues of food safety and hygiene, teaching quality, children’s rights and deputies, birth certificate, order and security, HIV/AIDS preventation, child protection and care…They also wanted the local functional agencies to create useful playgrounds for them, spend more time on moral education at school, take measurs to deal with school violence…

On this occasion, the district awarded 132 scholarships worth VND65.8mln to poor-but-excellent pupils. It is known that each scholarship is worth VND400,000 for primary school pupils, VND500,000 for junior high school pupils, VND600,000 for high school pupils and VND800,000 for students.
