The Eastern International University’s directorate (EIU) yesterday paid a working session with the local department of Education and Training, Finance, Home Affairs to discuss English training plan and expense… for local primary and secondary schools’ teachers.

As many as 500 English teachers at primary and secondary schools will enjoy the training at the EIU to help students perfect their foreign language knowledge.

Ph.D Nguyen Van Phuc, headmaster of the EIU, said “Participants not only improve their skills but learn about new and effective teaching methods”.

The EIU has held training courses on foreign language for local employees. Especially, the EIU in cooperation with the local department of Education and Training has held 2 English courses free of charge in line with IELTS standards for 50 English teachers at local high schools.
