Exportation estimated at USD 32.9 in 2023

Binh Duong provincial Department of Industry and Trade informed of paramount obstacles export and import activities especially the province's key export industries of furniture, textiles, and footwear faced in the first 9 months of 2023. The province's traditional export markets also decreased over the same period.

By the end of the third quarter of 2023, businesses have begun to sign new export orders. Output is still quite modest but a delight for the recovery of the economy. Thus, by the end of the third quarter of 2023, the province's export turnover should reach 63% of the 2023 plan. According to the Department of Industry and Trade, it is expected that for the whole year of 2023, exports are estimated to reach VND 32.9 billion, decreasing by 5% compared to 2022, reaching 86% of the year's plan. Trade surplus gained USD 9.2 against 2023 plan of USD 38.1 billion , which was an increase of 10% compared to 2022.
