First days of a new school year

August 20, 262,050 students in the province is expected to start up a new school year. During the week of August 13-17, students of elementary and junior highschool entered their regular basis. All of them were so eager to start up something new. Ms. Le Hoang Yen Nhi, mother to Tran Hoang Ngan – a first grade student of Di An Elementary School said: “We prepare all week long but she was shy with new friends and teachers. Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Thu, teacher of Hiep Thanh Elementary School in Thu Dau Mot City said: “In elementary school, students are all anew to queuing and other conducts; however they are well-prepared now with the help of parents”. From the beginning of June 2012, Department of Education and Training has demanded its grassroots to be prepared for the new school year. During summer holiday, school facilities have been repaired and rennovated while students have attended training classes with orientation for the new school year. Teaching staffs have also been re-organized in a bid to innovate and improve education quality. Up to date, amost every school has completed construction and repairs of schools for the year. The education and training sector in Binh Duong Province is gradually meet up the standard by offering more and more solid buildings for the province including in rural areas. “To promote the achievements made, we aim at major tasks for the new school year including improvement of management, administrative reforms, anti-corruption, and anti-waste practice, and movements of quality education and facilities to national standards,” said Mr. Tran Dang Nam, Office Head of Di An Town Education and Training. “For the time to come, we will aim at quality improvement and allocation of students after junior high graduation. By now, the preparation has basically fulfilled.
