Ready for a new school year

By August 13 and 20, students and teachers of all types of schools in the province entered their new school year with facilities well-prepared.
Phu My Junior High School is newly construction and put into operation for the new school year. Up to date, the school is valuated as the most beautiful school in Thu Dau Mot City.
Ever since the summer holiday, students were prepared for a new school year. All the 6th grade students of the previous school year, now, enter public schools. By the end of June, Department of Education and Training held entrance examination to 10th grades to enroll 7,799 students or 76.15% of the junior high graduates. The remaining students should enter private schools, vocational schools, and training job centers.
Monitoring the enrollment this year, we could figure out the status quo of overloading due to high rate of immigrants from other provinces to Thuan An, Di An, and Ben Cat. Quantity of students per classroom is relatively high for optimal education targets. Thus, local offices of education and training has directed schools to balance the needs and enrollments.
Repairing, construction, and renovating educational facilities have been made thoroughly to offer best educational conditions of 447 schools across the province to the students.
As confirmed by Mr. Tran Hieu, Deputy Director of Department of Education and Training, the provincial authority has made good cares for facility development. By August 10, 22 storeyed constructions have beem completed. It was expected that 8 more constructions should be put into use while 24 others have been on progress.
Beyond for new constructions, the State’s budget was also used for equipments and minor repairs. The amount has reached over VND 180 billion.
In the meantime, the Department of Education and Training has been maintaining teacher training regime for various subjects in a bid of preparation of high quality school year of 2012-2013.
