Improving quality of high school final and university entrance exams

In the school year of 2011-2012, the whole province had 99% of students passing the high school final exams and nearly 50% of examinees passing university entrance exams. The result showed an improvement of educational quality. To increase quality for the high school final exam and university entrance exam, managers met together to share experiences.    12th graders enjoy close guidance from teachers.

One of high schools winning a stability of educational quality is Vo Minh Duc high school in Thu Dau Mot city. Nguyen Van Cuu, headmaster of Vo Minh Duc high school shared the school has focused on human resources to improve the quality of education as well as renovation of teaching and learning methods. In addition, the school has offered policies of exempting and reducing school fees for poor students.

Meanwhile, Tan Phuoc Khanh high school in Tan Uyen district won 100% of graduates in the 2011-2012 academic year. The high school often holds meetings for parents to grasp their feedback on teaching and learning.

In recent years, the quality of education in remote areas-based schools has gained remarkable results. Tran Dinh Phu, headmaster of Tay Son high school in Phu Giao district, revealed located at a remote area, the school has little students and teachers, so the school directorate encourages teachers and students not to quit the school.

Meanwhile, the ratio of graduates at Dau Tieng high school in Dau Tieng district has made many people admire. To reach the rate of students passing high school final exam and university entrance exam, the school directorate allocates good teachers to teach 12th graders and focused on practice for subjects of physics, chemistry and biology.

Results of high school final exam and university entrance exam require responsibility and devotion of managers, teachers and effort of students. From experiences of managers, the local high schools have drawn lessons to improve their educational quality.
