Voters give opinions on educational and healthcare issues

On the morning of October 2, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation included: Nguyen Van Loi, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Mr. Nguyen Van Danh, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Nguyen Van Rien, Chairman of the Provincial Catholic Solidarity Committee, had a meeting with more than 100 voters of Thoi Hoa ward, Ben Cat city before the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly.

At the meeting, after listening to the representative of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation announce the expected content and program of the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly, voters also raised some existing problems and obstacles such as the current inappropriate use of textbooks. Voter Trinh Ngoc San (Ward 3, Thoi Hoa Ward) said that textbooks should be unified nationwide, not have many sets like the current ones, causing difficulties for students when transferring schools and causing waste when not reusing old books. Voters recommend that attention should be paid to building childcare facilities with sufficient expertise and professionalism to meet the demands of local people. Issues of school violence, online fraud, lack of clean water, building more high schools... were also reported by voters to National Assembly delegates. Representatives of functional departments of the province and city discussed and answered some concerns and recommendations from voters.

Speaking at the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Van Loi emphasized that the province always focuses investment resources on education and training. He suggested that the education and training sector calculate specifically how to organize children's groups, the use of textbooks, tuition exemptions, and English training in general education levels to suit the local situation, and advise the provincial leaders to direct implementation in the coming time.

The Provincial Party Secretary also informed voters about the province's socio-economic situation over the first 9 months of 2024; at the same time, he requested Ben Cat City and wards to continue the urban renovation, invest in traffic systems, water supply and drainage, and electricity in the spirit of the State, people and businesses working together to implement...
