North Tan Uyen, Bau Bang celebrate VPA’s 80th founding anniversary

On December 18, North Tan Uyen district’s Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and  Fatherland Front Committee solemnly held a ceremony to celebrate the 80th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People's Army (VPA) (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024) and the 35^th anniversary of the National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2024).

At the get-together, delegates reviewed the heroic and glorious traditions of the VPA in the cause of national liberation, unification and achievements over 35 years of implementing national defence. Continuing and promoting the heroic patriotic tradition of the generations of ancestors, North Tan Uyen district’s armed forces have accomplished many victories, achieved proud achievements and have been highly appreciated by the Party, State and people from all strata. On this occasion, provincial Veterans Association awarded the Vietnam Veterans Memento to leaders of the Party, government and mass organizations of the district for their contributions to the cause of building and developing the Vietnamese Veterans Association.

*On the same morning, Bau Bang district held a get-together to celebrate the 80th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People's Army (VPA) (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024) and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2024).

On this occasion, Chairman of the district’s People's Committee rewarded 7 households, 11 collectives and 38 individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement to celebrate the 80th founding anniversary of the VPA.
