On December 17, the Ministry of Justice held a national video conference to deploy judicial work in 2025 with 63 connecting points in provinces and cities across the country. Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long attended and directed the conference. Attending at Binh Duong endpoint were Mr. Bui Minh Thanh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and representatives of some departments, branches and sectors in the province.
The report at the conference showed that the results of judicial work in 2024 in most areas increased compared to the same period in 2023. Notably, the administrative reform index of the Ministry of Justice ranked first out of 17 ministries, the 6th consecutive year maintaining the group of 3 ministries leading in the ministerial administrative reform index.
The Ministry of Justice and other ministries and branches advised the Government to submit 28 laws and 5 normative resolutions to the National Assembly for approval. The Ministry of Justice alone presided over, developed, and submitted to the Government and the National Assembly for approval 3 laws and 1 resolution.
Speaking at the conference, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long suggested that in 2025, the entire judiciary sector focus on organizing Party Congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Party Congress; streamlining the apparatus according to Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW; continuing to build and perfect highly feasible laws. The sector needs to resolutely implement digital transformation; continue to advise on building laws on international cooperation; strengthen coordination, improve the quality and efficiency of all aspects of work.
