Inauguration and groundbreaking of some projects to celebrate TDM city’s Party Committee’s 75th founding anniversary

Early August 28, the inauguration and groundbreaking ceremony of a number of projects in Thu Dau Mot (TDM) city took place on Phan Dang Luu street in Tan An ward to celebrate the 75th founding anniversary of the city’s Party Committee.

Delegates perform the ribbon-cutting ceremony to inaugurate and start construction works in TDM city

The event was attended by Vo Van Minh, Deputy Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Van Loc, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Council; Nguyen Van Dong, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of TDM city’s Party Committee.

At the ceremony, the city’s People's Committee informed 3 projects inaugurated and 1 started construction. Accordingly, 3 works were inaugurated, including a work on upgrading and expanding Phan Dang Luu street from Vo Cai intersection to Ben The market and the banks of the Saigon River with a total length of 1,577 meters, total investment capital of more than VND 297 billion; Dinh Hoa primary school 2 was started construction on March 18, 2021, with a total area of 11,141 square meters, total investment capital of more than VND 73 billion; Phu Hoa 2 secondary school started construction on October 9, 2019, with a total area of 7,642 square meters, total investment of nearly VND 120 billion.

The groundbreaking work is the project of upgrading Nguyen Van Cu secondary School, with a total area of 11,238 square meters, total investment of more than VND 73 billion, expected to be completed in July 2024.
