Indochina conference on road transport kicked off

An Indochina conference on road transport took place at Binh Phuoc province on April 1. The event was to prepare for the signing ceremony of road transport pact between Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. At the conference, many experts of transport field said that once 29 selected routes at border gates in three nations are invested properly, there will be a strong impetus for Indochina’s socio-economic development.

Addressing the opening ceremony of conference, Le Manh Hung, vice minister of transport, said Vietnam has over the past years invested in traffic facility sharply, meeting the socio-economic growth. The event will create a trade and non-trade legal framework and so on.
