Around 12 hours after landing in Tan Son Nhat Airport in Ho Chi Minh City, film star couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt and their six children took a flight to Con Dao Island today afternoon to spend their holidays in five-star Six Senses Resort.

At 3:45pm today, the eight-member family together with an entourage of over ten people set foot on Con Son Airport in Con Dao -- 230km southeast of Ho Chi Minh City after a 30-minute flight with Air Mekong.

Being well protected by bodyguards and security staffs of the airport, they were escorted to get on a vehicle and drive to the Six Senses Resort, just 10km from the airport.

Bui Van Binh, chairman of the Con Dao District’s People’s Committee, told Tuoi Tre he has received no official information regarding the visit of the film stars nor their activities on the island.

They just come to spend their holidays as well as other guests at the resort, Binh commented.

In 2006, Brangelina had made a surprise visit to Vietnam and adopted an orphan a year later and named him Pax Thien. Their six children include biological twins Know Leon Jolie-Pitt and Vivienne Jolie-Pitt (born in 2008) and Shiloh (born in 2006) together with three adopted children Maddox (adopted in 2002), Zahara (adopted in 2005), and Pax.
