Le Van Duan wins Mekong Delta cycling tour

Tran Van Chien of the Military Zone 7 won the seventh stage between Soc Trang city to Can Tho city with a total length of 62km. At the eighth stage around Hoa Binh Avenue in Can Tho city, Pham Phat Dat of Binh Duong finished first. It was followed by Nguyen Truong Tai of Domesco Dong Thap Pharmacy 1 and Le Van Duan of HCM city.

With a total time of 18:16:40, Le Van Duan won the overall yellow jersey. Tran Van Quyen of the Military Zone 7 and Do Tuan Anh of Domesco 1 were second and third, respectively.

Along with the yellow jersey for the overall race leader, Le Van Duan also won the green jersey for the race’s best sprinter with 169 points. The white jersey for the best young rider came to Ha Thanh Tam of An Giang Plant Protection.

In the team rankings, Domesco Dong Thap Pharmacy 1 took the lead, followed by Gao Hat Ngoc Troi and An Giang Plant Protection.
