Leaders of Tan Uyen, Phu Giao visit, extend greetings to the Executive Boards of Buddhist Sangha and heads of pagodas

A delegation of leaders from Tan Uyen town’s Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and Fatherland Front Committee has just visited and extended greetings to Tan Uyen town’s Buddhist Sangha and 28 heads of pagodas in Tan Uyen town and North Tan Uyen district on the occasion of the Lord Buddha's 2558th birthday.

On behalf of the delegation, Permanent Vice-Secretary of Tan Uyen town’s Party Committee extended greetings to Buddhist dignitaries and followers on the occasion of the Lord Buddha's 2558th birthday; hailed the great contributions by Buddhist dignitaries and followers to the socio-economic development of Tan Uyen town; encouraged the town’s Buddhist Sangha Executive Board to uphold its role in gathering and uniting Buddhist dignitaries and followers to practice their faith in accordance with the law, contributing to strengthening the national great unity bloc.

On this occasion, 28 gifts were also presented to pagodas across Tan Uyen town and North Tan Uyen district.

*Early May 6, leaders of Phu Giao district’s Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and Fatherland Front Committee held 3 delegations to visit and extend greetings to Buddhist dignitaries at 13 district-based pagodas on the occasion of Lord Buddha’s 2558th birthday.

At the visiting places, leaders of the district extended greetings to Buddhist dignitaries, nuns, monks and followers; hailed the contributions by them to the cause of the district’s construction and development over the past time while hoping that they will continue making contributions to the cause of the local socio-economic development.
