Meeting businesses and customers’ aspiration

The 2014 Southeastern trade and industry sector fair – handicraft exhibition wrapped up in the evening of Dec. 8. At the fair, many businesses introduced and offered high quality goods for consumers inside and outside of the province.

Possibly speaking, the fair met aspiration of enterprises and consumers, especially laborers.

Discount programs lure many clients

Dec. 8 was really the best lively shopping day during the fair. Many consumers inside and outside of the province took part in the closing ceremony of the fair. Tran Van Hien, worker of a company in Binh Duong New City said that over the past days he was very busy, owing to shift work. In the morning of Dec. 8, he and his roommates took advantaged of free time to make a shopping. In the last day of the event, many stalls offered discounts for clients.

At Anh Phuong fish sauce stall of Ba Ria – Vung Tau province, many shoppers bought several barrels of fish sauce. At Vinh Tan cosmetics stall, consumers purchased lotion and extra virgin mu trom and enjoyed body wash bottle worth VN80,000. In the meantime, dry fish stalls of Binh Thuan, Ca Mau, Kien Giang also offered special discounts to stimulate consumers. In addition, electronics stalls launched many year-end promotional programs.

Tran Thi My Phuong, working at My Phuoc II IP in Ben Cat town said that she bought dried and canned  foodstuff as gifts. Tran Thai Duy in Thuan An town took his whole family to the fair and said that commodities at the fair were very plentiful and he spent more than VND20mil for shopping only on Dec. 8. “We hope that such fairs will be held more to stimulate consumers’ shopping”, Duy revealed.

Opportunity of marketing trademarks

Bui Thi My Dung, rep of Ba Ria – Vung Tau provincial Trade Promotion Center said that visiting the fair, Vung Tau-Ba Ria province sent 14 enterprises with 11 stalls for products such as dried seafood, fish sauce and among others.   

Over the past 6 days, local enterprises won good results with the turnover of nearly VND300mil. Of this, Anh Phuong fish sauce company reaped revenue of more than VND50mil.

Meanwhile, other enterprises found out new partners and expanded more distribution channels.

Huynh Minh Tan, rep of Tuoi Khanh lacquer workshop in Hiep An ward, Thu Dau Mot city said that over the past 6 days his workshop reaped about VND20mil in revenue. Though his workshop did not win big value of turnover, he enjoyed a huge value of trademark promotion.

According to Tan, his workshop displayed numerous unique lacquer products, impressed on visitors. Therefore, many clients promised to cooperate and order his products.

At the closing ceremony of the fair, the Ministry of Trade and Industry and the provincial People’s Committee honored and awarded 101 collectives, individuals contributing to success of the 2013 Southeastern trade and industry sector fair-handicraft exhibition and the cause of building and development of Vietnamese trade and industry sector. Accordingly, Binh Duong’s enterprises such as Becamex IDC, Thanh Le Co.Ltd., Binh Duong Minerals and Construction JSC positively supported the fair organizing board. In addition, there were other excellent individuals helped to win success of this event.
