Late June 9, a delegation from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, led by Deputy Minister Ho Anh Tuan, had a working session with Binh Duong about the implementation of a plan building up cultural lifestyle among workers at province-based industrial parks (Ips). Provincial People’s Committee Vice-Chairman Vo Van Minh and representatives of relevant agencies received the delegation.

To representative of provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the whole province has a total of more than 744,000 laborers at province-based enterprises, 84.4% of whom are immigrants. Over the past years, the department paid more attention to investing in cultural and sports institutions, partially meeting the local people’s demand for entertainment.

Mr.Minh also informed the delegation about some situations in the province over the past time while suggesting the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to offer more help to the province in improving the cultural and spiritual life of workers, especially those working at province-based Ips.

Addressing the session, Mr.Tuan spoke highly achievements done by Binh Duong over the past time while acknowledging the province’s petitions in order to have priorities in supporting the province to enhance the cultural and spiritual life of workers.
