June 26, at the venue of Thanh Le Cultural Park, Festival of Cultural and Sports Families in Dong Nam Bo Region was officially kicked off with participation of representatives of Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in Ho Chi Minh City, Family Department of Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Mr. Nguyen Minh Giao (Head of Provincial Party Committee’s Education and Communication Board), Mr. Huynh Van Nhi (Deputy Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee), local departments, and 18 model families from 6 provinces of Ba Ria – Vung Tau, Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, Binh Thuan, Dong Nai, and Tay Ninh.The opening ceremony was held in manner of unity, joy, and information exchange to build up well grown and happy families.
