National Bicycle Race for young male and female 2011: Binh Duong female cyclists to be impressive

Update: 07-07-2011 | 00:00:00

Starting from July 2, the race will finish in Binh Duong New City. Binh Duong team has won 3 gold and 2 silver medals. We interviewed Mr. Banh Chanh Quyen, coach of female cyclists team.

Reporter: What is your assessment of achievements made by Binh Duong team?

Mr. Banh: The gold medals won are achievements of female cyclists in timing category of 30km for age of 15-16 and 39km for age of 17-18 and individual cyclists. As a result, we reached the target of 2 gold medals. It is impressive for winning those two medals for which we recognize Huynh Xuan Lan, Nguyen Ngoc Dung, Tran Thi Cam Nhung, and Tran Thi Tuyet Nhung as highly appreciated cyclists; however, they should make more efforts so as to overcome An Giang team for more gold medals.

Reporter: Is Nguyen Ngoc Kim Ngan the best cyclist in individual category of Binh Duong team?

Mr. Banh: She is excellent although there are good cyclists around. We were surprised by her win against Nguyen Thi Tha and Nguyen Luu Cam Tu in the first place. In my opinion, she is potential for future success.

Reporter: How do you think about unsuccessful male team?

Mr. Banh: This is the third time they fail to make it. Training should be reviewed for better adjustment.

Reporter: So, will the female team retain its place in top 3?

Mr. Banh: We have good generation of cyclists from BIWASE. In such progress, we will surely retain the place of one of the three strongest team nation wide.

Reporter: Thank you!
