North Tan Uyen promotes synchronous infrastructure towards ecological urban development

Over the past time, North Tan Uyen district’s socio-economic infrastructure development gained many major results. This has helped the image of the district step by step obtain modern development towards ecological urban development. Noticeably, the district’s infrastructure investment has absorbed involvement of enterprises and received high consensus among people.

Forming up a central city

So far, North Tan Uyen district has implemented the adjustment of an overall plan on Tan Thanh city till 2030. Provincial People’s Committee also recognized Tan Thanh as a fifth-class city at the Decision No.1502/QD-UBND dated June 8, 2017. It is expected that Tan Binh commune will be also recognized as a city in September, 2019.

Synchronous and modern infrastructure facilities greatly contribute to North Tan Uyen district’s socio-economic development

Leaders of the district also said that provincial People’s Committee approved the district’s overall plan on socio-economic development till 2025 at the Decision No.3595/QD-UBND dated December 26, 2016. In addition, provincial People’s Committee adopted a plan on the adjustment of land use till 2020, thereby contributing to helping the district effectively realize State administration on construction planning.

Moreover, the district’s master plan on regional construction was approved by provincial People’s Committee at the Circular No.2639/UBND-KTN dated June 5, 2019. The district has also always paid attention to State administration on socio-economic development.

Synchronous traffic infrastructure

Over the past time, the district’s People’s Committee conducted functional agencies, the People’s Committees of Tan My, Thuong Tan and Lac An communes to mobilize people living along DT746 street to give back areas cleared away to make environmental hygiene, ensuring traffic safety and bring the beauty to the street. The district also suggested provincial Department of Transport and VRG Company to further supplement some items on lighting, water drainage…to DT741 street. The work is expected to be carried out by the end of 2019.

Besides, the district’s People’s Committee coordinated with the province’s sectors and departments to well realize investment in key streets, namely the belt street 4, the North Tan Uyen-Phu Giao-Bau Bang main street with 6 lanes…

Socio-economic thriving

North Tan Uyen district is now home to 3 bus routes and passenger transport services, basically meeting people’s demand for traveling. Under the overall plan of Tan Thanh city, the district has arranged land for construction of a 2-hectare coach and is calling for investment under the socialization form.

According to Nguyen Thanh Tam, Head of the district’s Division of Economics and Planning, the district’s traffic infrastructure system has basically got synchronous investment, ensuring the local traffic connection at people and enterprises’ demand for traveling and goods transportation. The local traffic safety is also ensured. This is seen as the motivation for the locality to develop other technical infrastructure facilities, contributing to the local economic development.

Thanks to having a good infrastructure system, the district has absorbed many industries in line with the province’s orientation for development; created jobs for laborers, thereby contributing to the local socio-economic development. Noticeably, the district’s industrial production value last year was VND3.3trillion, up 13% compared to 2017. The district’s economy is growing up towards the decrease of agriculture production, the growth of industrial manufacture, services…

In terms of trade, the district made socialization for construction of Tan Thanh market with 23,000 square meters and put it into use. Lac An market was also constructed and put into use with total cost of VND5.1billion. Currently, the district is home to 7 markets, including 4 markets, namely Tan Thanh, Dat Cuoc, Thuong Tan, Binh My with solid construction. The district is building Tan Binh market. Whilst, district-based business facilities have worked very stably. The district’s total retail sales revenue of commodities and services over the past year reached the annual growth of 13%...
