On May 10, Department of Education and Training organized an Olympic English contest for students of elementary schools in the school year of 2010-2011.

Of 42 students competing in listening, multiple-choice questions, and writing, Chieu Kim Quynh from An Thanh Elementary School in Thuan An Town won the first prize to promote the whole team to dominate the competition.

The contest also offered chances for students to attend to music performances and games in English. The contest is helpful to encourage English learning from the early age.
