Provincial Department of Education and Training (DoET), on September 17, held a ceremony to honor good teachers and pupils in the 2012-2013 academic year.

In the last academic year, there were 23 good teachers, 1,266 good pupils at all levels and 115 classes with the high ratio of pupils passing the 2013 university entrance exam. Among them, 23 teachers, 115 classes and 106 pupils were awarded the certificates of merit from provincial People’s Committee.

Provincial DoET also continued discovering and sorting out good pupils at all levels. As a result, there were 13 good pupils at national level; 344 good pupils at provincial level and 855 pupils winning provincial-level prizes. In addition, provincial DoET instructed schools to focus on giving training to all 12th graders to get high results in the 2013 university entrance exam. Consequently, there were 3,865 pupils passing the 2013 university and college entrance exam at route 1; 85 pupils getting 2 scores and above at the 2013 university entrance exam; 411 passing the 2013 entrance exam at two universities and 115 classes with the high ratio of pupils passing the 2013 university entrance exam.
