Over 530 workers receive vocational training and professional training

By the end of Jun 2016, over 530 employees working directly in hotels and guesthouses in the province were trained through programs of primary vocational, professional training in order to standardize the workforce and increasingly improve the service quality of provincial tourism industry.

According to Mr. Le Phan Thuan, Deputy Director of provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in the 2008- 2015 period, provincial tourism industry hosted and cooperated with tourism schools in and outside the province to organize 8 professional training classes of hotel management and operating; suite, table catering; hospitality skills to provide basic, necessary knowledge for the workforce employed in provincial hotels, motels.

In 2016, provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will continue to host, cooperate with HCMC Tourism vocational and International Marketing Junior College to open a hotel motel management professional training course for directors, deputy directors and executives of hotels and motels in the province.
