Over 80 journalists visit people, soldiers in Truong Sa island district

At the military port of Cam Ranh in the south-central province of Khanh Hoa, the Naval High Command Zone 4 held a delegation to visit and give Tet gifts for people and soldiers in Truong Sa island district on the afternoon of Jan.5. Among those participating in the trip, there are 80 journalists from central and local press agencies.

Addressing the seeing-off ceremony, Doan Cong Thien, Permanent Vice-Chairman of Khang Hoa provincial People’s Committee wished the delegation good health in order to fulfill entrusted tasks while wanting that Truong Sa island district’s people and soldiers would always bring into full play their heroic tradition, surmount difficulties to protect national sovereignty over sea, islands and continental shelf while wishing them a joyful, safe and economical Tet.

As planned, the delegation will pay visits, present gifts, extend Tet greetings to people and soldiers in 20 places of the island district within nearly one month. Participating in the trip, Binh Duong Newspaper’s reporters will upgrade daily information about the trip at readers’ demand.
