On November 21, a conference was held at the Provincial Police Department to review the activities of the force that participated in maintaining security and order at the grassroots level in Binh Duong province over the past three months.
Up to now, the province has established 587 security and order protection teams at the grassroots level, with 3,466 members (reaching 97.72% of the regulations). Under the guidance of the commune-level police, the grassroots security force has steadily established its role in the prevention and control of crime in the community.
After three months of operation, this force has participated in over 1,100 legal awareness campaigns and collaborated with relevant agencies to resolve 44 minor disputes and conflicts among residents. In addition, the security and order protection force at the grassroots level also directly participates in building and managing 59 programs in the movement "All people protect national security".
On this occasion, under the authorization of the Minister of Public Security, leaders of the Provincial Police Department awarded the "For National Security" Medal to several individuals who have contributed significantly to the protection of national security. Additionally, certificates of merit were presented to nine members of the force who participated in maintaining security and order at the grassroots level and achieved outstanding results in crime prevention and control.
