Early November 16, Huynh Van Nghe High School in Tan Uyen city solemnly celebrated its 65th anniversary (1959-2024) and the 42nd anniversary of Vietnam Teachers’ Day (November 20, 1982 - November 20, 2024). The event was attended by Nguyen Loc Ha, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee and Vice Chairman of provincial People's Committee, along with leaders of various departments, agencies and organizations; former teachers and alumni from different generations as well as the school’s current teachers and students.

Over its 65 years of establishment and development, Huynh Van Nghe High School has continuously grown in scale and quality of education. In the 2024-2025 school year, the school has 83 managerial officials and teachers with 33 classes and 1,285 students. All teachers are qualified, with over 20% holding advanced degrees, three with the “Meritorious Teacher” title. Throughout its development, Huynh Van Nghe High School has been honored with numerous noble awards as follows: In 1999, the school was awarded the Third-Class Labor Medal by the State President. In 2018, it received the Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister. In 2021, the school was recognized as the unit with the Level 1 National Standard and achieved the Level 2 Educational Quality Accreditation. It has just been awarded the Government’s Emulation Flag for outstanding achievements in education and training, leading the patriotic emulation movement during the 2022-2023 academic year.
On this occasion, Dong A Corrugated Steel Joint Stock Company sponsored the Huynh Van Luy Scholarship Fund to offer 1 award worth VND 3 million to an excellent student and 10 scholarships worth VND 20 million to poor-but-excellent students. Provincial Study Promotion Association awarded 30 scholarships worth VND 30 million to the school’s students.
During the ceremony, provincial Department of Education and Training presented the certificates of merit to two collectives, recognized 14 individuals as grassroots emulation soldiers, awarded the certificates of merit to 33 managerial officials, teachers and employees of Huynh Van Nghe High School for their excellent performance during the 2023-2024 academic year.
