Over VND1.5billion spent on helping women in economic development

Since early this year, Phu Giao district’s Women’s Union has coordinated with relevant units to consider and disburse VND1.52billion in preferential loan for 391 officials and members to develop economic models.

The district’s Women’s Union has also mobilized 156 well-off women to offer help of loan, nurslings, agricultural materials valued at more than VND36.5million to 189 needy ones; helped 58 members of An Linh and An Long communes to take jobs of sawing shoes for export on contract with the daily income of VND100,000 per person; introduced jobs of sawing products on contract at home for 22 members of 2 An Long and Vinh Hoa communes with the average income of VND3million per person per month; opened 3 household garment classes for 81 members of An Binh, Tan Hiep and Tam Lap communes.
