Phu Giao district’s Fatherland Front Committee said that since early this year, donors in and out of the district have subscribed VND403mln to the district’s Fund for the Poor, including VND300mln from Phuoc Hoa Rubber Joint Stock Co.

 Also during the time, the district’s communes and wards have mobilized and presented 5,000 gifts worth more than VND1.2bln to policy beneficiary families; built, donated 52 unity houses and granted more than 12,000 health insurance cards to the poor; organized the humanitarian blood donation campaign and provided free medicine for the poor with a total expense of more than VND200mln.

 The district’s Father Front Committee has also received more than VND266mln in cash and gifts from units as relief aid to flood-hit people in the central region.
