The success of Ly Hoang Nam is a hint that Binh Duong Province could become one of the high achievement sports training ground in Vietnam.Part 1: Disclosure of successTalking to us on this matter, Mr. Nguyen Phu Yen, Deputy Director of Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said: “We do not wait for Ly Hoang Nam success by winning his gold medal in Asian Youth Games 2013 to start up our construction of the number 1 tennis training ground in Vietnam. Five years ago, we, under the name of Becamex IDC had such vision and set out target for what has been chosen.” A bird view on tennis courts of Becamex Tennis Training Center In fact, to reach out for such target, Binh Duong Provincial authority has built up complete facilities of Becamex Tennis Training Center sponsored by Becamex IDC at the Center of Community Sports in Binh Duong New City. More and more young athletes have been recruited from cities and provinces across the nation (including Ly Hoang Nam from Tay Ninh) to attend the training. Besides, coordination has been established with Vietnam Federation of Tennis to organize tens of national and international tournaments to enable matching experiences and experience enrichment. By such steps, according to Mr. Nguyen Phu Yen, combined with oversea training and competing, the tennis players from Binh Duong training ground have grown fast.Thanks to the achievements, Binh Duong tennis movement has been nominant as one of the three dominating tennis playing centers nation wide.Mr. Nguyen Phu Yen added that the General Department of Sports and Vietnamese Federation of Tennis were planning a project of junior tennis player and professional training center (of the Southern Region) in Binh Duong Province.
