Paying attention to raising rubber value

According to the Vietnam Rubber Association, Vietnam’s rubber exports in 2016 were expected at 1.2 -1.25 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 5.5-10%. The country also earned US$1.42million from export of products such as tyres, rubber accessories…

The Vietnam Rubber-Plastic Manufacturers Association said that Viet Nam’s exports of rubber products are worth just a tenth of Thailand or Malaysia. Hence, Vietnamese firms should invest more in processing technologies and seek new buyers for their products. International exhibitions also need to be increased to help them get up-to-date on technologies, products and build new relationships.
