The Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam), on Jan.5, held an online press meeting to announce its achievements done in 2009 as well as its key projects.

 

In 2009, Petrovietnam secure VND256.02trillion of total revenue, or 125% of the projection, or 16% of the country’s GDP; paid VND91.05trillion to State budget, or 148% of the projection, or 24% of the country’s total budget revenue; earned US$7.82bln of export turnover, or 134% of the projection, or 14% of the country’s total export turnover.

 

Petrovietnam also welcomed 10 highlighted events last year, including receiving the title “Labor Hero in the Renewal Period”; putting Dung Quat oil refinery plant into operation, delivering the first batch of Vietnam-made gasoline…
