Phu Giao District focuses on investing in science and technology development

 Recently, investment in the application of scientific and technological advances in Phu Giao district has been enhanced, especially in agricultural production. Accordingly, the district coordinates with Center for Rural Development - Saemaul Undong under Ho Chi Minh City University of Social Sciences and Humanities to implement several topics under the provincial science and technology project: "Research and develop a high-tech agricultural tourism model in Phu Giao district of Binh Duong province combined with building new and advanced rural areas according to the orientation of smart village development."

The district also organized the 1st "My Home Products" contest in 2023, with 41 organizations and individuals selected to participate by People's Committees of communes and towns; the final result was 38 organizations and individuals winning prizes.  In addition, the district opened intellectual property and barcode training for more than 130 organizations and individuals producing, processing and trading agricultural products. Many entities and farmers with potential products have joined the OCOP program.
