According to provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the “Iron triangle” tunnel was recognized as a national historic site in 1993.

It is known that the province’s project to preserve the national historic site covers  20,017 hectares with a total expense of more than VND225bln and is expected for completion in 2014.
