Early May 23, provincial Center for Culture and Movie held a ceremony to mark its 25th founding anniversary (1989-2014) with the attendance of leaders of the local culture, sports and tourism sector over periods, collaborators and staff. 

Provincial People’s Committee Vice-Chairman Tran Thanh Liem presenting flowers to congratulate all staff of the center on the occasion of its 25th anniversary.

Over the past 25 years, the center was prevented with 96 certificates of merit from the local authorities at all levels; 78 gold medals, 105 silver medals via contests and festivals; 10 emulation banners from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, provincial People’s Committee…The center in the first five months of 2014 attended 3 national and regional festivals; won 2 gold medals at the program making the 55th anniversary of the Truong Son Trail and the 60th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory, the Prize A for the best propaganda truck at the National Mobile Propaganda Festival 2014, 2 gold medals and 3 silver medals at the Eastern Cultural Festival 2014, 2 gold medals and 1 silver medal at the National Cai Luong (southern folk opera) Festival 2014.

On this occasion, artist Thu Hong, Head of the Cai Luong Club under the center was awarded the certificate of merit of the Ministry of Culture-Sports and Tourism for her excellent achievements in the task of preserving and upholding this artistic form.
