Provincial Gardeners’ Association supports over VND50mln for Truong Sa and needy people

Provincial Gardeners’ Association now has a total of 1,055 members and 33 branches. In the 2009 and 2014 period, the association has mobilized members to raise more than VND50mln for Truong Sa, flood-hit people in the central region, Agent Orange victims, poor-but-excellent pupils…

The association has also teamed up with localities and relevant agencies to implement provincial People’s Committee’s decision regulating some support policies for the province’s orchards in the 2013 and 2016 period; advocated the growing of 3 hectares of green-skin pomelo in Phu Giao district; joined in hands with provincial Agricultural Promotion Center to promote the Project of “Cooperative model on orchid growing in Binh Duong” with total investment capital of more than VND3.5bln.
