To commemorate the 65th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27), a delegation of provincial leaders, headed by provincial People’s Committee Vice-Chairman Huynh Van Nhi visited and presented essential interior decoration items, comprising of beds, televisions, altars…to social policy beneficiary families of Truong Nhat Lang, Nguyen Thanh Binh, Tran Thi Le, Nguyen Thi Ban and Nguyen Van Minh in Ben Cat district on the morning of July 23. Huynh Van Nhi, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee presenting a gift to Truong Van Lang, who is the father of martyr Truong Nhat Do in Ben Cat district’s Lai Uyen commune. On the same day, provincial leaders, including Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee; Pham Van Canh, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee and Nguyen Minh Giao, Head of provincial Education and Propaganda Committee, visited, presented gifts and essential interior decoration items to social policy beneficiary families in Ben Cat district’s Cay Truong commune, Tan Uyen district’s Tan Vinh Hiep, Khanh Binh and Binh My communes, Thuan An town’s Lai Thieu ward and Di An town’s Binh Thang and Tan Binh wards.It is known that the total expense for the province’s program giving essential interior decoration items to social policy beneficiary families on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day is more than VND2bln, extracted from the local Fund for the Poor and the local Gratitude Fund.Reported by Thien Ly-Translated by K.T
