Early Sept.5, Binh Duong Daily and the life insurance company Prudential Vietnam jointly awarded 20 scholarships worth VND1mln each to poor-but-excellent pupils at Tran Van On high school in Thuan An town (photo) on the opening occasion of the new academic year.

Le Thi Thanh, head of Binh Duong-based representative office of Prudential Vietnam said that the company is expected to present 2 houses of compassion to poor people in Ben Cat district and TDM city; award 30 scholarships worth VND500,000 each to poor pupils in Ben Cat district; offered 35 health insurance cards for poor people in Dau Tieng district.
