Sixty-one green enterprises honored

Early November 22, provincial Department of Natural Resources and Environment (DoNRE) organized a ceremony on the announcement of the provincial Green Book 2016. Attending the event were Nguyen Huu Tu, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee; Mai Hung Dung, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee.

Nguyen Hong Nguyen, Deputy Director of provincial DoNRE said that sixty-one enterprises, including 51 FDI enterprises and 10 domestic ones, were listed in the 2016 provincial Green Book for having performed well in regard to environmental protection in the production process. On this occasion, they were also awarded the certificates of merit of provincial People’s Committee.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr.Dung wanted that these enterprises will better uphold their achievements, further obtain more comprehensive development and join hands with the local government and people to engage activities in environmental protection, contributing to promoting the local sustainable socio-economic development.
