Khaimoun, a student of the HCMC University of Industry, said “Laos’ Bunpimay Tet takes place on April 13-15. The festival helped us welcome a New Year and ease homesick”. Douang Ta Vanh, a student of Binh Duong University said that he often enjoys Vietnam and Laos’ traditional Tet holidays. Nguyen Van Thanh, Deputy headmaster of Binh Duong University said that though the university has only 5 Laotian students, the university pays attention to their material and spiritual life.

Le Phu Hoa, vice director of the provincial department of Foreign Affairs, said under cooperation program between Binh Duong and Champasak provinces, Binh Duong has received to train engineers and IT bachelors for Laos. 25 students from Champasak and Sekong provinces have studied at Binh Duong and Thu Dau Mot Universities. They have enjoyed scholarships and accommodations during their study.
