According to Tan Uyen Town People's Committee, besides the efforts and solidarity among Party committees, authorities, levels, sectors, and people, contributions of the business community in the area to the overall development of the town is remarkable.

The important contributions

The town has now 1,140 domestic enterprises, total registered capital is over VND11,115 billion; and 582 FDI enterprises, total registered capital is over $3 billion 817 million. The enterprises have been making important contributions to socio-economic growth and stability, actively contributing to job creation, State budget revenue, and the enforcement of social security policies.

According to the assessment of Tan Uyen Town People's Committee, in recent years, the local economy has maintained a good growth momentum, the appearance of the town has prospered, and urban infrastructure has been built modernly. This result has an important contribution of the business community in the area.

According to Lý Châu Lâm, Chairman of the Town Young Entrepreneurs Association, local entrepreneurs have great opportunities and opportunities but also face difficulties and challenges, especially in the current complicated global economic situation. Despite the rapid increase in number, most businesses in the town have small scale, low funds. Some enterprises are in need of distribution and marketing network, thus it is difficult to directly penetrate the market. Currently, there are not many businesses having breakthrough production and business strategies in the town; Few businesses, entrepreneurs have big brands.

Mr. Lâm added that in the coming time, the young entrepreneur community of Binh Duong province was determined to preserve and enhance solidarity; further promote the dynamic spirit, creativity, integration and development of all young entrepreneurs in Tan Uyen in particular and Binh Duong province in general.

Local government keeps giving best supports

According to leaders of the Town People's Committee, to implement the directive of the Central and provincial leadership on supporting and developing enterprises, building and promoting the role of businessmen in the new period, in recent years, the town’s government has paid attention to and supported enterprises. The town’s leaders proactively proposed policies to support and improve the investment environment; drastically directed the reform of administrative procedures, improving the quality of public services, especially attitude and qualifications of public servants directly working with enterprises; applied OSS mechanism to shorten waiting time of organizations, citizens, and enterprises.

In addition, town leaders paid much attention to the inspection and examination to reduce overlaps, troubles, and harassment for businesses; created favorable conditions on infrastructure, especially transport infrastructure, land, ensured social security, order and property safety... The town strived to create the most favorable conditions for businesses to develop comprehensively and achieve high efficiency in production and business.

Urban infrastructure of the town was built modernly. The system of roads received many investments; many large roads in the town were constructed to connect with regional transportation systems such as roads DT746, DT746B, DT747B. Roads within the town were also built and repaired such as roads DH409, DH423, and DH425... Electricity and water supply infrastructure systems were also upgraded. Besides, many new residential areas appeared to serve the people, promoting socio-economic development of the town.

Town leaders expect businesses and entrepreneurs to continue to exploit and effectively use the available potential and advantages; focus on 3 breakthroughs in infrastructure investment, service development, especially tourism and construction of civilized and cultural urban areas. The town leaders believe that the business community in the area could mobilize all resources, promote synergy to contribute to the rapid and sustainable socio-economic development, improving material and spiritual life of the people.

Đoàn Hồng Tươi, Chairman of the Town People's Committee, said that in the coming time, businesses and entrepreneurs in the area needed to uphold the sense of responsibility, strengthen self-reliance and solidarity among the community, take initiative in removing difficulties, seek consumer markets; constantly learning to improve management skills, apply advanced science - technology to improve product quality.

Businesses need to proactively build their brand name. Entrepreneurs need to pay more attention to corporate social responsibility towards the community. It is not only humanitarian, charitable, social security and community-based activities, but also the responsibility towards environmental protection, business ethics, contributing to elevating brand name, ensuring sustainable development.

The Town People's Committee will strengthen the direction and supervision to departments, units, and local governments in receiving opinions and feedbacks of enterprises; sharing difficulties, assisting businesses. The town will sanction any manifestations and behaviors that cause difficulties to businesses, or curb development, and restrict investment resources into the town.

Mr. Tươi suggested that the business community promptly report negative signs, harassments and illegal acts of public servants, and propose reasonable solutions to the town leaders.
