Early October 1, Thu Dau Mot University held the opening ceremony of the 2013-2014 new academic year. It is that the school has enrolled students in 29 majors, including 22 university-level ones with 6,200 targets, in the new academic year. The figure will bring the total number of the school’s students at present to 15,000. 

Thu Dau Mot University will further promote the campaign of “Studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh’s exemplary morals”; implement the Law on Higher Education to improve its operational quality and perfect its training programs in line with the real situation of socio-economic development. On this occasion, Thu Dau Mot University honored 8 excellent students in the 2012-2013 academic year and 7 fresh students who were the school’s first laureates in the 2013 entrance exam.
