Thu Dau Mot University yesterday held a conference on scientific research for students in the school year of 2012-2013. This is the first year the university launches a contest on scientific research for students and considers to award the “Thu Dau Mot University’s young science talents” prize.

The contest received 76 topics from 181 students under 9 faculties. There were 45 out of 51 topics accepted by these faculties.

In addition, 4 topics won the second prizes, 6 others won 3rd ones and 3 others grabbed consolidation ones at the “Thu Dau Mot University’s young science talents” prize.

Moreover, the organizing board selected one excellent topic to compete in the “2013 young science talent” prize held by the Ministry of Education and Training.
