In the first half of the year, Thuan An town’s Fatherland Front Committee (FFC) actively mobilized people from all walks of life to make their contributions to the socio-economic development and maintain political security, social order and safety.

Bringing Party’s resolutions into life             

Noticeably, Thuan An town’s FFCs at all levels have actively brought the resolutions of Party congresses at all levels into life, especially the Resolutions of the third and fourth congresses of the 11th Party Central Committee in association with implementation of the Politburo’s Directive No.03/CT-TW on further intensifying the campaign of “Studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh’s exemplary morals”; sped up dissemination of information about the meaning of great holidays, the laws on gender equality, traffic safety, environment, food safety and hygiene…

Nguyen Thi Thu Hong, chairwoman of Thuan An town’s FFC said that the town’s FFC has also teamed up with the local authorities to promote dissemination of information about the Party and State’s policies and guidelines to raise people’s awareness and create  a firm faith in them on the leadership of Party….

In addition, the town’s FFCs at all levels have sped up dissemination of information about the meaning of great campaigns, including “The entire people consolidate to build cultural lifestyle in residential areas”, “Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods”…, contributing to bringing the resolutions of Party into life.

Mobilizing locals to well realize movements

To take the lead in emulation movements of the province, Thuan An town’s FFCs at all levels have frequently honored and replicated effective models. For example, they successfully organized a competition of “green-clean and nice quarters”, contributing to raising public awareness of civilized lifestyle…

Thuan An town’s FFCs at all levels have also paid more attention to taking care of the lives of poor people and social policy beneficiary families. In the first half of the year, they mobilized organizations, individuals to build 11 unity houses worth VND500mln and raise VND506mln to the local fund for the poor.

They also joined hands with agencies and sectors to present 7,314 gifts to Vietnamese heroic mothers, the families of war invalids and martyrs and nearly 10,000 others to poor people; especially mobilized hundreds of proprietors to reduce or not increase the prices of lodging houses for workers, mobilized organizations and individuals to support VND200mln for victims in a recent gas explosion in An Phu ward…

To Nguyen Ngoc Quang, vice-secretary of Thuan An town’s Party Committee, the town’s FFCs at all levels need to further speed up dissemination of information about the Party and State’s policies and guidelines to promote the strength of the great national unity bloc, patriotic emulation movements and mobilize people from all walks of life to make contributions to the local socio-economic development.
