Unique culture-art activities celebrate April 30, May Day and 60th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory

In order to create diversity and attraction of spiritual cultural enjoyment for all local people, Di An town Center for Culture, Information and Sport in the evening of April 29 held a musical show to celebrate the April 30 and May Day holidays. The show encompassed various parts such as revolutionary songs and prestidigitation items and comic plays performed by Di An town’s artists and actors from the HCMC.

 

Meanwhile, a musical show took place at Ben Cat town Center for Culture, Information and Sport in the night of April 29. Aside from items praising the Party and Uncle Ho, soldiers and people in the resistance wars, the show included items performed at the provincial public art festival.

 

Also the same day, the provincial folk song festival took place at the provincial Center for Culture and Movie with the attendance of 8 teams from districts, towns. At the festival audiences enjoyed many folk songs nationwide such as Quan ho, Ly ngua o, Ly dat going, Ly muoi thuong, Hat ru con and among others. As a result, Phu Giao district Women Union won the first prize, followed by the provincial Military Headquarters and the provincial Public Security.

 

In the evening of May 2, on the occasion of the 2558th Vesak Festival held at Hoi An Temple in Binh Duong New City, numerous Buddhism believers enjoyed unique musical items performed by the provincial art troupe and many famous singers and artists such as Dam Vinh Hung, Phi Nhung, Le Quyen, Phuong Thanh, Quoc Dai, Ngoc Giau, Le Thuy, Ut Bach Lan, Thoai My, Nhat Cuong, Hieu Hien and so on.

 

On May 3, mixing with the ambience welcoming the 39th anniversary of the Southern Liberation Day, May Day, numerous members of the provincial Retired People’s Club enjoyed a unique and significant musical program performed by members of the poem, tai tu – cai luong and music committees.

 

From April 30 to May 4, local audiences had chances to watch famous films such as Giai phong Sai Gon, Ba ca rat ran, Noi gio, Mui co chay, Duong ve que me and so on.

 

The mentioned culture and art activities contributed to create a lively ambience for local residents on the past big holidays.
