Vietnam keeps piling up the medals at SEA Games 29

Shooter Ha Minh Thanh won a gold medal Wednesday, August 23, in the men’s 25m rapid fire pistol at SEA Games 29.

This brings the total number of gold so far in the competition to 21 in addition to 13 silver and 20 bronze medals with team Vietnam currently standing second in the overall medal tally.

Other gold medal winners today include cyclist Nguyen Thi That, sabre fencing athlete Nguyen Tien Nhat, gymnast Le Thanh Tung in the men’s vault and horizontal bar and Dinh Phuong Thanh in the men’s parallel bar.

Dinh Phuong Thanh won a silver medal in the men’s horizontal bar along with Pham Phuoc Hung who claimed silver in the men’s parallel bar.

Meanwhile karate athlete Nguyen Thi Ngoan earned a bronze medal in the women’s 61kg.
