Developing the most effective forest management plan

On the afternoon of July 1, provincial delegation, led by Mai Hung Dung, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of provincial People's Committee, conducted a survey of the current state of protective forests in Dau Tieng district.

Accordingly, the delegation visited and assessed the current condition of the Kien An historical forest site in An Lap commune. Here, the delegation listened to a report of the historical site’s Management Board on the current status, forest management, investment and cultural and historical works. Following this, the delegation surveyed current conditions and inspected fire prevention and control in the area of Cau mountain protective forest.

Working with provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, relevant agencies and leaders of Dau Tieng district, Mr. Dung stated that the purpose of the survey was to reassess the current state of the forests, fire prevention and control..., thereby finalizing the Proposal for the Establishment of Binh Duong provincial Forest Management Board. Based on reports from departments, agencies, localities and actual conditions, provincial People's Committee will develop the most effective forest management plan.
